Bob Crangle, President and cofounder of Rose & Crangle, holds a Bachelor of Science
degree from Kansas State University in Nuclear Engineering and a JD from Harvard
University Law School.  He has been on a university business school faculty.  He is both a
consultant and a practicing attorney.

     Bob was on the management consulting staff of Harbridge House Inc., a Boston-based
international consulting firm, for 15 years, providing research, consulting and facilitation
services.  While there he worked with many federal agencies, including the Department of
Interior, the Office of Education, various parts of the Department of Defense, the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration and the National Science Foundation.  He also
provided services for state and local agencies, and for private and public manufacturing and
service firms.  By 1984 he was a senior vice president .

    Bob was recruited by the Dean of the Stuart School of  Business Administration at the
Illinois Institute of Technology.  While teaching on the School's information systems faculty he
organized and directed a funded research center in manufacturing strategy and policy;
organized and coordinated roundtables for senior corporate officers in manufacturing and
other subjects, and created and taught the first IIT graduate and undergraduate courses in
entrepreneurship.  Rose & Crangle was begun to carry on his independent consulting.

     Bob later left IIT and moved his large family to an ancestral home in rural Kansas.  He is
now the president and principal consultant of Rose & Crangle.  Concurrently, Bob has an
active legal practice.  His law practice, which has always been separated from his consulting
work, is now through the Crangle Law Office, Chtd in Lincoln, Kansas.  He is an amateur
painter (oils) and avid reader.
